San Benedetto Monastery
Subiaco, Italy
The San Benedetto Monastery was built surrounding the cave where Saint Benedict lived (il Santuario del Sacro Speco). Adorned with frescos of the life of Saint Benedict and other saints, pilgrims come to visit the monastery and the holy site of the founder of the order.
