Agbang Monastery was founded in 1985 by Fr. Boniface Tiguila. The monks speak and pray in French and participate in many projects including teaching at the local schools, poultry and communal farming, and mechanical/electrical work.
Work of the SJBVC
The main work is teaching English to the students at Athénée St. Albert le Grand Secondary School. Volunteers also work in the fields and the guesthouse.
